these are the sketches for my environment piece sorry for the clarity of the images (the images are in sketchbook in full detail.
to start with i based my environment on a war scene with objects you would see in a battle present however as i progressed from image to image i began to convert these into other objects or warp them to make them look distorted. the reason i did this was i wanted my piece to show a common environment (a office) scene through the eyes of a person with mental scares and not just a war torn solider.
half way through the designs i started to add living things into objects to give a creepy demonic feel to the sketches.
