drawing objects guns in photoshop

first we went on the gun creation gun site called pimp my gun from here we made the basic designs for the guns we will be making in photo shop,  in photoshop we used the mask and polygon lasso tool to copy the basic shapes of the gun so that we could alter them making a new design.

 this first gun is designed on a scatter shot or metal storm design with multiple barrels, this design still represents the characteristics of a modern day assault rifle. 

 this second gun i based on a 40mm grenade launcher however i have altered it into a sub machine gun style.

my thrid and final gun i based on the scar assault rifle however i upgraded it to fire 40mm shells similar to the way a hand cannon operates.

from the original gun i made the I gun a fusion between heavy weaponry and expensive apple design, what i like about this design is the humour as the amount of power it has left is indicated by a internet connection bar on the stock. i could improve this gun by adding more gradient to give it a more glossy feel similar to the gloss they have on the old Iphone and Ipad.
